Jaeda turned five last month! She picked an ice cream theme for her very first friend birthday party.
I asked her if she'd like me to surprise her with a decorated house after she went to bed or if she'd like to help with the decorating....
Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home,
When Jesus is my portion. My constant friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the...
25 baby weeks came in May
as well as did my special day
James made me himself
my birthday cake
and hid 'round the house
mint candies to take
Jaeda's gals love to dance with a man
my business cards came
as pink as we planned
then I found this shirt
to match my cards
James is a funny guy. He was quite the little daredevil as a kid. Making ramps, catching animals, running all over town. But put his kids into the equation, and he has a mini heart attack. Every.single.time. And this little car with his baby daughter...
Corban joined his first t-ball league this spring.
Just over an hour once or twice a week.
We've enjoyed spending time together as a family

Liddi's started walking right at 13 months
(par for the course around here)
and was ready to start scootering the next week.
Our weekly book one week was The Gingerbread Man,
James took Jaeda

She'd been planning on it

Pearl necklace and all.
Our Liddi Bitty turned one.
And is all just a blur of movement.
I'm lucky to have any pics of her!
(Corban is constantly touching, hugging, kissing
his baby sister. He...
This post will be a little here, there, and everywhere. I'm trying to squeeze, you know, two months of the kids into a single post. Big breath in. Here goes!
Corban has started drawing IDENTIFIABLE objects!
We found this website that he can click through himself.
Jaeda is our nurturer
and just wants to sit
and read Liddi books
and smile sweetly
But when she's with Corban,
They play fast and furious!
Nephew Timmy (and his parents, what were their names, again?)
visited this fall. Jaeda loved reading him books (see above).
We babysat one evening for a total...
