Do you have any friends who are always doing kind things
(like watching your kiddos) and never accepting anything in return?
So I had to get smart crafty.
What momma turns down things for her kids?
I made little Miss M here her very own fabric matching game.
When I pinned this Anthropologie-esque DIY shower curtain,
I had no idea what my spring break would contain.
Mary Jackson did, though.
Nine hours, two bags of gummy worms, and one package of cookies later, we emerged victorious.
I've been having a blast with my sewing machine these past several months.
Here's a little peek into some of the craftiness:
I sent this butterfly to my 7th grade math teacher who is not doing well physically.
I hope it brightened her day!
Burp cloths for Baby D...
Corban is learning to feed himself with silverware.
Corban loooves bath time.
Isn't he cute??
We're still going strong with the cloth diapering.
When we had the flu (out both ends), that was no fun.
But still. It's been worth it!
Look at that little belly bulging out.
We visited with Jeff...
We bought these blocks at a garage sale last weekend.
(James remembers playing with this set as a kid!)
Sadly, they came in that plastic bag.
And we know what Corban does to things he gets his hands on!
I remembered reading a blog about making a drawstring bag...
James can't stand using our store-bought wipes. And for good reason. They're pretty awful. I've been promising to use my leftover baby blanket fabric to make new wipes for about, oh, two months or so. It's just that me and sewing aren't always on speaking...
