25 Aug A problem solved
We bought these blocks at a garage sale last weekend.
(James remembers playing with this set as a kid!)
Sadly, they came in that plastic bag.
And we know what Corban does to things he gets his hands on!
I remembered reading a blog about making a drawstring bag out of a t-shirt. So I thought, why not? My love-hate relationship with my sewing machine was on the love turn, so perhaps it would turn out great.
I put a little fabric block decal on the bag before sewing it closed.
Now, it’s filled with all his blocks!
Guess what? I love it!
That just means I can never sew again.
P.S. Aunt Hoopie is visiting, so she made her own purse–pockets and all!

Posted at 14:10h, 30 AugustDo you have use for another set of blocks? I bought a set a while back when we were vacationing in Leavenworth, WA and they look very similar. :) You’ll have to check them out this weekend and let me know. If you have two sets of blocks, Corban can then spell out words such as antidisestablishmentarianism (word I learned from high school history teacher).

Posted at 15:35h, 30 AugustHey, now that I’ve made that super cute bag, we can fit all kinds of blocks in there! We’d love them! (And by “we,” I mean “Corban,” of course!) ;)
