One thing I like to do (when I find free prints coupons) is print pics for the kids to hang on their beds. You know how you hang pics of you and your friends in high school/college? I’m just trying to send subliminal messages like “She is your friend” and “You love each other.” I’d say it’s working so far.

I chose the beach for our September photo. It’s extra peaceful this time of year, what with all the kids being back in school. And it was a gorgeous morning. Hoopie was visiting (Michigan starts school later) and could borrow James’ old bike. And of course, Corban could ride the 1/2 mile there himself. Can you breathe that crisp morning air? *deeply inhaling* So life-giving.
