11 Aug Jae Riz is Three!
On Jaeda’s birthday, the zoo threw a party for their members. Jaeda was certain it was for her. James took off work, a few family members drove down, and we made a wonderful day of it!
Aunt Hoopie still has a broken foot, but all the kids got to take turns riding in her wheelchair.
We never ride the rides at the zoo–we’re quite content with our animals (although they always look longingly at them). Well, all zoo members got one free ride AND we decided to buy her one ride for her birthday. Yeah, it was a big day. Of course, she picked the carousel first. Over my personal favorite, the boat ride. What can ya do?
I’m not sure who enjoyed it more–the kids or James??
My cute little BIG three-year-old in her birthday outfit from Grandma!
Liddi did as great as she could. She even napped in the stroller for a while! But she always does best in somebody’s arms.
Liddi kept trying to jump out of our arms.
We took the train before we collapsed for a lunch break.
I was enamored with this tree.
He’s a great, involved, loving, goofy dad.
We love him.
Waiting for Jaeda’s surprise gift from Hoopie.
A wooden buggy from when she was little!
Jaeda’s wanted a stroller for 2 years!
Jaeda, wearing her kiwi dress from Grandma,
pushing her buggy up and down the sidewalks.
You can be sure Corban got in on lots of pushing.
She’s recovering from a big bike fall…
that left a J scrape on her chest!
We all thought it was pretty cool.

The Member’s Day was CRAZY. But so much free stuff and so much FUN! Liddi’s a good stroller napper when she needs to be, so I’d say it was totes worth it:)
