I found this shirt at Kids’ Market. This was my first year actually buying clothes for the kids there. And once I saw this shirt with a cute little pig-tailed redhead, I knew I had to have it for Jaeda. Gah, I can’t even handle her cuteness.IMG_0234

She desires more and more to not only dress herself but also choose her outfit. Right down to her socks and backwards shoes. Folks, if Corban can do it, then she’s certain she can, too. IMG_0295

I’m trying so hard to be more disciplined in my nail biting disease. It hurts! Covering the nails with polish or Jamberry’s definitely helps. And when Jaeda sees me adding something shiny, she wants in.IMG_0300

Matching toes for mother and daughter. Also sandals and bare feet. Because it’s that nice outside.

Her face cannot stay clean. It.just.can’t. I’m down to washing it right before bed. Sometimes that’s just with my finger and a tissue if I forget before going upstairs. Doing everything herself is messy business.

Okay, so then last week it actually wasn’t quite sandal weather (not that that stopped some of you–yes, I saw you!–from wearing flip flops). I insisted she wear a hat; she insisted she wear a headband. Looks like we both got our way. Found those Toms on a FB sale site. No, I don’t have FB anymore. Yes, I sometimes sneak on James’ to see if there are any deals I need to get in on. $3 Toms is definitely one of them.IMG_0308
