When brothers graduate, families celebrate.

When brothers graduate, families celebrate.

A couple weekends ago, Ben graduated from high school.
Ben, whose diapers I changed.
Ben, who made us late to school more times than books I’ve read.
Ben, who was bounced on in utero and hasn’t stopped bouncing since.

The family keeps getting bigger and bigger.
Ready for the list? Read it as fast as you can. We have a record to beat.
Mom, Dad, Sarah, Tim, Mary, Anna, Ben, Jon, Matt, (Isaac), Abby, Ruth.
But now add in James, Courtney, Jeffrey, and who knows who else in the future ;)

(The graduate’s in the blue stripes.)

Lots of play and even more work made for a fantastic, exhausting weekend.
Yep. That’s us eating appetizers at 9:30pm. Partay…!

Our kids have yet to get sunburnt, and this is all thanks to James!

Ben’s girlfriend Anna and I totally dominated the barn decorations.

Ben’s gift from us was a t-shirt quilt from his high school career.
Athletic wear and youth events covered them all.

Nooobody wants to see their mom and dad kiss.
Or their Grammie and Papa. Hehe.

The stoic men.

And the giggly girls.

Courtney worked her magic on this photo and put all our best jumps
(from the 20 or so options) into this one photo. We look amazing, girls!

EDITEDVERSION

We had a girls’ night out the last evening.
Mom stayed for a bit (sorry you missed the pic!)
For an Inspector Gadget moment, pretend that it’s
my arms going around both ends. ‘Cuz that’s what saw.

BBs…

…and a campfire finished the weekend well.

Happy graduation, Ben! Can’t wait to have you near us next year living at Grace
(and studying in our basement)! Speaking of Grace, here’s an article that was written
about him recently. Apparently, he’s gonna be a big bad baseball player!
