Oh. And the same day happens to be our neighborhood spring picnic.
My neighborhood gals came over and helped me cut out ONE HUNDRED
12″x12″ pieces of cardboard…for Jumbo Scrabble! They’re all painted and ready to be played.
We’re planning to play it Bananagrams-style so more people can participate.
In the midst of the crazy, James and I got a 4-hour date night. Four, uninterrupted delightful
hours. To celebrate the occasion, my fancy boots were dragged out…from the back of the closet.
We’re not feeling quite right with the level of stress in our house right now. Sigh.
My friend read the book Seven, and we’re doing some life evaluating right now.

Corban had his first dentist appointment. It was a fine first one.
(Read: it can only get better, right?)
Maybe it was too early? I’d read 2 1/2 – 3 years old, and Corban’s 2 1/2.
Wait. Did somebody just say my baby was 2 1/2? As in pushing 3?! Quiet, you!
Aah. She sleeps. Not at night, mind you, but this is proof that sleeps wins at least sometimes.
