11 Jul A Month of Liddi
Last month, Liddi started moving in her sleep.
I definitely laid her horizontally this night.
She smiles
and smiles
and smiles.
She’s been smiling more for me than anyone else
(hmm I wonder why).
So much so that when we hear her waking up,
Corban and Jaeda fly up the stairs ahead of me,
shouting, “Save some smiles for me, Liddi Bitty!”
I found her a headband at a garage sale.
James didn’t love Jaeda in headbands
because it covered her long, beautiful hair.
So we did clips with her.
But Liddi gets headbands.
Although this is the only one I can find anymore.
She occasionally sleeps in arms still.
But mostly, she loves her crib.
So many smiles.
The beginnings of sitting up!
All the neighbor girls love her
and want to hold her all day long.
I finally stopped swaddling her last month.
So this is how she started sleeping.
I giggled every night.
But she’s already too big for such things
and just lays quietly.
Or rolls. She’s super into rolling.
So all those pictures above were taken last month.
But these past couple of weeks I’ve been working on
our next family photo album and saw so many great
Nikon photos of the older two and felt bad that poor
Bitty is doomed to iPhone shots. So yesterday, I rectified
the situation. Here’s the little almost-five-month-old in all
of her drooling, giggling, toothlessness. And a couple of her
siblings. And a Duplo friend and dino. Just for good measure.
