11 May Mommy Son Adventure 2015
Warsaw hosts a Mommy Son Adventure every year just before Mother’s Day. This was our second year attending, and we’re not stopping anytime soon! It’s so fun to be out with your oldest, just you and your boy, getting dirty, exploring, racing, making things together, licking black frosting ’til your tongue is dyed forever.
Before we left, I asked Jaeda what she would be doing with Daddy while we were gone. “Will you have a Daddy Daughter Dance Party?” I asked. “Noo,” she replied. “We’re just getting married.”
Sigh.
She’s precious.
Also, she didn’t quite understand why my already being married to him would pose any sort of problem for her. I think that’s just fine. For now.
She’ll will be old enough for her first Warsaw Daddy Daughter Dance next year; she’s already practicing her moves.
