30 Oct a poem about some recent days
reading about identity in Christ
with one of my favorite girls
(we drink coffee, overpriced)
mate has soothed my queasy stomach waves
and now is essential
(with friends, afternoons are saved)
neighborhood friends, the Lord seems to pursue
week after week
there’s been a new breakthrough!
two neighbors have shown their care for us well
by fixing our car
it made our hearts just swell
new folks being drawn to Christ every day
by living and loving
it is God’s family’s way
christmas is coming, though it’s only october
