This weekend was so fun for us (and so needed)!

Responsibly, I got a weekend babysitter ahead of time.
Irresponsibly,  I let Papa take Corban…and pay for our lunch.
Responsibly,  we went to a marriage retreat.
Irresponsibly, we went out to dinner afterwards…at 9:30pm.
Responsibly, we ate at a fancy place for not such a fancy price.
Irresponsibly, we brought our sleepy 3-month-old with us.
Responsibly, we finished unpacking the office.
Irresponsibly, we squandered our afternoon, toddler-less.
Responsibly, we went to a movie…with free tickets from a dear friend!
Irresponsibly, we purchased popcorn and pop at the theater. (Yikes!)
Responsibly, we bought the rug we had been saving and saving and saving for…with a coupon!
Irresponsibly, we stayed up even later setting it up in our living room.

We never realized how easy babies were…until we had a toddler.
And while we thoroughly enjoy life with our little red-headed family,
this weekend was the refreshment we’d been needing.
