Just a few projects.

Just a few projects.

Lest anyone believe our house is fully unpacked, this post is for you.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Found this cute little table in the garage. Will make a great crafting table.
Just needs a little paint and a lotta love… For some reason, James thinks
that suppers and bill-paying should come first. Priorities, dude.

Thinking two rows of coat racks here with the one on top having a shelf.
Right now our coats are on the porch. And they’re cold.
(Reminds me of the good ol’ days in our Michigan breezeway…)

This whole pile will be strategically placed into two bookshelves…
which are being purchased in two weekends. For now, they taunt me.

Major organizing needs to happen. Top two shelves are mine–paper, stamps, cards.
Bottom two are Corban’s–stickers, glue, paper, markers, crayons, rice. Have some
great Dollar Tree baskets and buckets that I know will keep everything always in its place.

Many pictures and wall hangings waiting patiently for their turn.

This is our dresser for the next…while. It needs a little attention, me thinks.

These embroidery hoops will become wall hangings for pretty Jaeda’s room.
I’ll wrap them with cute fabrics and then pic out one or two to make her curtains.

There’s more as well (always, am I right?), but we really are starting to feel quite settled.
Aaaah.

Two points to be considered.

(1) I think the worst part of moving this time is a) how long it’s taking and
b) how much daily maintenance (read: dishes, laundry, bathroom, sweeping)
has to occur when all I want to do is continue unpacking and organizing!

(2) How in the world did we fit all this stuff in a 730 sq. ft. apartment??
