Corban’s Baby Book

Corban’s Baby Book

I love using Blurb to create digital photo albums. You download their free software to your computer and then can work on your album even without internet access. It comes with templates galore but also gives the option to manipulate any template in any way! Use any font that’s on your computer. Don’t worry about photos maintaining their aspect ratio (being proportionate); it automatically fits photos for you! I used Blurb based on a friend’s recommendation for our previous photo album, just to give this digital angle a try, and loved it! For Corban’s album below, I spent $40 (including S/H) for a hardcover, 50-page album with a dust cover jacket. Think about all the money I didn’t spend printing photos and buying paper, stickers, and adhesives! And to top it all off, I started the album Friday…and finished it Monday! Probably a total of 15 hours spent here. Anyhoo, that’s more than enough spiel. Anyone have another program that you loooove that I should switch to??

I think the limit is over 400 pages, so I’m pretty sure you’d be fine. Also, you can publish a book that you’ve WRITTEN (like text AND pictures), which I think would be so perfect for you, Ruby! You should do it!!

This is so precious, Sarah!  WAY more convenient than getting all those scrapbooking supplies…makes for a house with less clutter!
