Well, this is fun. My Our blog has won an award! Lena over at Coffee Cat put TheRedheads-Steele in her top five picks; thanks, Lena!

Well, it was clearly not our intention to do any award-winning, but I’ll give a shout-out to some dear friends that I love to follow.

1. Pat over at If You Can Stomach It writes about food, friends, and good times and happens to be a friend with whom we have had good times over food! :) He was our best man in our wedding, so go on over and check out some of his yummy recipes!
2. Chris & Evie blog about their experiences in God leading them to the mission field through New Tribes Missions. They have very recently landed in Papau New Guinea and are hammering out some major language learning right now, so leave them some encouraging words!
3. Although she doesn’t post often (we want more!), Dr. Erin Helgerson, M.D. (aka great friend!) journals a bit about life after med school. Interesting, entertaining, and thought-provoking; check her out!
4. Is it super cheesy to give your own blog an award? Yes. Am I going to do it? Yes! I blog about Teaching ELs in the USA, based on my own experiences and those of the teachers I work with and am inspired by. We’re just getting back into the blog world, so leave us some love!
5. The last one is no one I know, but I have been so inspired by her home decor. She doesn’t change much of the structure (making it much cheaper), but her end product (aka her house!) still looks amazing! Plus her blog is called I Heart Organizing; what’s not to love??
