Standing Up

Standing Up

Yes, you read that right. Corban is pulling himself up to a standing position now. !!

Always looking for toys. Chew toys, that is.

He absolutely loves standing by himself!
(And no, he hasn’t stopped drooling yet!)

Yes, I consider books to be toys, too. Hey, I love books!

He won’t crawl; he won’t even really scoot (unless he’s on his back),
but he’s pulling himself up. What a fun, exciting development!

Of course I can pick you up! I didn’t write down your address, though. If you write to me here, I’ll delete it right after I read it.

Cool! But am I supposed to bring something that I wrote? Do I have to talk? I will ask my dad. Mom said she would let me but I have to ask dad. That will be tonight though.

      1. school
      2. The Maze
      3. OR there is always ‘whatever topic you feel like writing on’

Those are the topics for this week. If you have something you’ve already written, you can bring that OR you can write something new. You do not have to speak but everyone is welcome to.

Sounds fun. Will there be other kids? Will it teach me about writing? Umm…. I still dount know… it’s at the Waraw library… I was there once for a Anne Frank thing that was for adults but there was a LITTLE kid there who said he was a holocaust expert :) let me think a little more.

There have been 1-2 kids there in the past. But there is a chance you’d be the only one. It’s a time to share your writing with others and get feedback. They give writing prompts, we work on them, and then we bring them back and share them. Sometimes they have guest speakers come in and talk about writing or how to get published. You just let me know!

OH MY GOODNESS! I cannot believe how much our nephew is taking after me! So intelligent, always a go-getter, smarter than anyone could believe, and always finding new ways to impress people (mostly his family). The resemblance is uncanny. Way to go Corban – and obviously way to go Auntie Anna for teaching him all of these things!

I’d like to remind you, darling Anna, that YOU take after ME! Go ahead and make the appropriate assumptions from that statement… ;)
