20 Apr A new place for my face
We are praising God as I put in my resignation at the Image Group after accepting a job at DePuy Orthopaedics. It has been a crazy journey full of answered prayer. I praise God that I didn’t get all those other jobs I interviewed for in Chicago, Indy, Colorado, Etc. We prayed and hoped for all of those and thankfully God said, “no”. I am in awe of God’s foreknowledge, sovereignty, and grace.
Starting May 2nd, I will be the Graphic Designer in DePuy’s Media Services Department. DePuy makes orthopaedic devices and implants like hips and knees among many other things. I will be designing marketing material, educational tools, trade show graphics, etc., as well as learning a new trade—3D illustration to create photo-realistic renderings of their product.

Posted at 11:11h, 21 AprilJohn is a biostatistician in Clinical Research. Oftentimes the Marketing and Media guys get ahold of John’s amazing math-y work and make it look cool. :-) So that’s the only kind of case where they might have similar projects.
