A Big Day

Corban is four months old today.
He’s grown so much since we brought him home from the hospital.
Here’s a little look into what today was like.

Evie Jones came to visit us. (We gotta get a pic of you/Chris with Corban!)
Janelle came, too, and brought over the Rainforest Jumperoo from the Goodwins (thanks, guys!).

He’s a little unsure of what to do with all the toys just yet,
but he’s spent some good time smiling in there so far!

His legs are a little short yet to reach the ground,
so we put some books underneath his feet to help him jump.

We visited the Fritchers in the afternoon (right during naptime; bad mom),
and he fell asleep on the way home.

I was trying to keep my hospital bracelet on until Corban was six months old
(my need for competition hasn’t ended with mommyhood),
but it’s finally broken in enough places that it’s scratching me.
Cue the scissors.

We love him lots and are thankful for the awesome opportunity to be Corban’s parents.
