Our little family Christmas

Our little family Christmas

We’re still figuring out how our own family Christmas will work. We currently celebrate just us at some point before we leave to be with family. Maybe in the future this will be on Christmas Day, but for now, we really love using James’ time off to be with our extended family Christmas Day. So Tuesday was Steele Family Christmas Day. It was…almost nothing like I had expected, but it was still a wonderful time to celebrate! One of the saddest parts was that we wanted no sweet things the entire day, so our plan for monkey bread was out the window. Okay, the other sad part was that Jaeda developed a fever and delayed our Michigan plans by a day. But really, no monkey bread was right up there with sad things.

Here are some pics of present opening time.DSC_0069 DSC_0079 DSC_0080

And big belly time. Hey, I want to wear that sweatshirt again when I’m not preggo!DSC_0081 DSC_0082 DSC_0085

I’ve stalked that dollhouse since July. Dreamt about it. Priced it a thousand ways.
And finally bought it. It’s been so fun. For the kids, I mean.

Ooo what dollhouse did you get? Setting up the furniture has been more fun for the kids even than actually playing it! Which is the case with almost all play–the setup is at least half the fun!
