02 Jun An Anniversary Aunt & Uncle
Anna and Jeffrey, my out-of-state sister and bro-in-law, are the ones who finally got us on the Pumpkinvine Trail. (James and Anne said it’s about time!) They celebrated their 4th year of marriage on an air mattress in our stuffy loft, but my, did we have a great time! Biking season is in full force, so we biked all over town and played super hard and of course ate Kelainey’s ice cream. We spent Memorial Day on the trail itself, stopping at one of the parks on the route, eating a delicious picnic lunch at the end (Shaffers, you’d be proud; we packed our own food all by ourselves. So it’s no weekend camping trip, but it’s a start!). A & J biked to a bed and breakfast and spent a couple days playing around while we took our kids home (they totaled over 50 miles within the next couple of days!). Of course, we stopped at the Castle Park on the way home, even though it was soo nap time already. What a wonderful time we had together; thanks for spending it with us, A & J!
