James’ brother Thomas climbs trees. As in, takes classes about it, studies it, has professional equipment, will get a degree, and apparently has climbing urges even in 30 degree weather…sans coat. This is what being a Wisconsin boy is all about. He asked James this past visit to climb a tree in their yard with him. They may not have spoken a word to each other, but this has already become one of James’ fondest memories of his lil’ bro. Precious. Incomprehensible to me. But precious.
