28 Jul Jaeda turns one!
Even though we were gone for the weekend,
we made it back in time to eat some cake on
Jaeda’s birthday (which was yesterday, by the way).
This was her pre-cake face.
Papa consoled her with the promise of ponies,
butterflies, and as much cake as she wanted.
Love the intensity of her stare on that candle.
“I want that!”
So delighted.
I see so much of myself in her!

Except for the hair style.
Jaeda’s hair is so long and hipster!
K, back to the birthday girl.
“Hey, what happened??”
“At least I get to lick the frosting off this smiley face ring.”
Finally lemon cake…with a blueberry on top!
She enjoyed every lick…and several more handfuls of blueberries.
