Crystal’s team from Dynamic Landscaping posted a Living Social deal recently,
and as seen from the photo below, we needed something in our front yard!
After two full days of four hard-working people sweating,
here is our new front yard! (Waiting on our baby grass to grow…)
We like that you can see our house now and that we can see our neighbors as they walk by.
We also prefer the mulch to the red lava rock–helps it stand out against the red house.

Okay, okay, so I know it actually looks maybe worse from where you’re sitting.
They hand-wheeled tons and tons (literally!) of dirt into both the front and back yards,
leveled out the ground, raised the grade to slope away from the house, and planted
some fresh new seed (that I am currently defending with my broom).
Just wait til that grass comes in!
Not once, not once, did I sit there and think,
“Wow, that didn’t look so bad; I wish we had done that ourselves.”
They worked hard, and we’re so thankful they did!
