12 Mar From my phone
Jessica and Jaeda are sure friends.
Only 3 months between them.
Jaeda was completely smitten (with her zipper, that is).
I’d say the feeling’s mutual.
Jaeda sat in the front of the cart for her first time!!
Caption this picture:
“Money, money, money!”
(You think of a better caption?)
Brother Corban riding on the end.
This is a perfect representation of their relationship.
Corban pulling, tugging, touching, loving (in his own way).
Jaeda tolerating, smiling, eating up the attention, no matter how uncomfortable.
We’re doing lots of planning for a kitchen update.
No renovations or anything major
(we have a couple walls we’d like to get rid of…but not before a second bathroom!).
Just adding some pretties to an overly small, bland kitchen.
Loving these colors!
Spring is teasing us, but we’re getting out anyway.
Corban’s a big cheese (not to be confused with the big cheese, Dad).
I ended this walk with two sleeping babies. What a pleasant surprise!
(And what a beautiful neighborhood we have to explore!)
In case you missed it, winter came in March this year.
We got 10″ in 24 hours (this was around Hour 4).
I’d complain, but it was far too beautiful for that.
Now, if we could only time it for Christmas next year…
She is beautiful. And joyful. Delightful. And precious.
I’m tearing up looking at this photo, because it just captures her so well.
And because I’m a mom now and that’s what we do when we think about our kids.
Also. She’s officially sleeping twelve hours at night.
And all sleep-deprived parents said, “Amen.”
Or was that, “I hate you.” You’ll have to speak up.
I’m thankful for the ability to whip a camera (no matter how pixel-y) out of my pocket and record a moment. It’s these little, insignificant moments throughout little, insignificant days that make up big, significant lives. I just want to record every little detail and stuff it in my heart so I can never forget. And by “every little detail” I mean “most of the little details,” because let’s be honest, nobody wants to remember waking every two hours or leaky, poopy diapers or oatmeal-crusted floors or needing to clean the floor around the toilet more than the actual toilet itself.
This song from Seeds Family Worship has been on
repeat in the car for the past, oh, 20 days or so.
I’d say it describes this time of joy in our lives well.
“Praise the Lord from the heavens
Praise Him in the heights above
Praise Him, all His angels
Praise Him, all you heavenly hosts
Praise Him, sun and moon
Praise Him, all you shining stars
Praise Him, you highest heavens
and you waters above the skies
Let them praise the name of the Lord!”
Psalm 148:1-5

Posted at 08:30h, 12 MarchI LOVE THIS! Also, I think we only live a few blocks apart now. If you ever need a walking companion, I could use the exercise and an excuse to get out of my stuffy house. :)
