Getting settled in

Getting settled in

First time experimenting with glue!

Forgive the flash, but I just love the grin!

I drew the tree (and the swing; awesome, right?),
and Corban decided where the glue went for the leaves.

He loved saying, “Goo, goo, goo.”

The Big Cheese himself.

Aah, fall is beautiful. And it’s equally beautiful that I feel settled enough to finally
start doing arts and crafts again. Corban’s missed that time with me…and I with him!

As an aside on Corban’s development, I just have to say “Holy vocabulary, Batman!”
His phrases are so fun to listen to (…and decipher). Most every phrase starts with
“my.” “My shoes.” “My Jaeda.” “My tissue.” “My jacket.” Occasionally,  he’ll acknowledge
that some things are not his: “Daddy shoes.” “Mommy water.” Gives us plenty to smile about.

(Okay, and be frustrated about, but this is a happy post, so we’ll just leave it at that for now.) ;)

If we could just get better and stop moving in, etc., I’ll come back to nursing group and we could do lunch afterwards…like we planned so long ago!
