07 Oct Domestication 101
I’m not ashamed to say that I’m a stay-at-home mom, a housewife, if you will. I love the smaller focus on my Lord and my family. I don’t feel overwhelmed with pressure to accomplish certain tasks. I have ample time to read, play, love, cook, think, talk, laugh, clean (yes, that is a perk for me!)…
I don’t
feel
hurried.
Like making freezer meals to help us eat out less.
Or mint oreo ice cream (no good rationale here–only that it tastes delicious)!
Like experimenting with cereal boxes and paper to free-ly organize our home.
And learning how to upcycle for this year’s presents!
(Sneak-peeks only, oh snoopy ones.)
Like even taking clothes OUT of the Goodwill pile and repurposing them!
And then later, repurposing the scraps!
It is such a privilege to be able to walk this path.
I thank God for giving James to walk with me,
for gifting us with Corban who brings us such joy,
and for leading my dad to sponsor our financial revival through Dave Ramsey’s FPU that makes this path even possible.
