Before and After: Baby Style

Before and After: Baby Style

Even though I’ve cut his hair multiple times, I’ve only ever cut from the top. The ears have remained untouched, because, quite frankly, I’m afraid I’m going to cut him…or me! This lack of around-the-ear cutting is evidenced in this photo (from yesterday).

But yesterday, our little fly-away baby became a grounded baby (or whatever’s the opposite of fly-away).

Yes, I should have washed his face before taking this shot. And yes, I should have been a little more reserved around his left ear (it’s like an inch too high!). And yes, I should not have wrapped him so tightly in his towel after his bath that when I sat him up, he would try to lean forward to crawl and would fall flat on his forehead, causing those two scratches. But no! I cannot believe you would ask if I used hairspray to make his hair extra spike-y so he would look oh-so adorable in this photo!

All-in-all, I’d say it’s a pretty good cut, eh?
