22 Sep Vball update.
Volleyball’s been going really well. Loving the “in-charge” part of it! :) It’s definitely been an interesting adjustment from college ball. I also never played in elementary, so I have very little experience at this level! It’s just been funny. Things like, one of our girls (b team) will hit the ball, it will head out-of-bounds (on our side, mind you), and the girls will run away from it, screaming “Out! Out!” No, no, ladies, WE hit it out! *laugh* Or the two girls going for the ball…and then the two girls both backing away from it. “Oh I’m sorry. Were you going to get that ball? I didn’t mean to get in your way. Oh, you want me to get it? Oh, no, no, I couldn’t possibly. Go ahead.” Needless to say, the ball frequently makes contact with the dreaded ground. *smile* Anyhoo, we’ll see if we can’t get some photos up here soon…
